Pill promises to ease PMT …
In Family, Healthcare, Lifestyles, Marketing, Pharmacists, Social Issues, Wellbeing on January 17, 2011 at 2:06 pmJust seen a report that a pill containing a mixture of fatty acids and vitamin E has been created by scientists to ease the symptoms of PMT. Let’s hope it’s marketed successfully – PMT is a monthly misery for so many women (and their husband’s and boyfriends!).
I’ve been taking Vit E for years – it’s got great anti-aging properties!
Everything Is Tickety Boo!
In Business, Celebrations, Communications, Humour, Inspirational Quotes, Lifestyles, Social Issues, Working from home on January 17, 2011 at 12:12 pmAccording to psychologists, a combination of filthy weather, financial strains and shattered new year’s resolution has conspired to make today the most depressing day of the year.
Well, I’m determined NOT to have a Blue Monday … I will concentrate on positive thinking and new business planning opportunities, and also think about booking a winter sunshine break 🙂

‘Beating Bowel Cancer’
In Blogging, Bowel Cancer, Healthcare, Lifestyles, London Marathon, Social Issues on January 12, 2011 at 4:01 pmAs a specialist healthcare PR consultant I get involved in work for a number of health and disease awareness charities. On a personal level, because I lost my husband to bowel cancer, one of my favourite charities which I support is ‘Beating Bowel Cancer’. They do great work in helping to save lives from bowel cancer – and also raise awareness and provide support to patients and their families. http://www.beatingbowelcancer.org
I’ve just heard that they have a a charity place available in the London Marathon 2011. If you’re interested in running on behalf of this cause, please telephone Becca, on: 020 8973 0018.

Floored by ‘Flu!
In Blogging, Business, Healthcare, Humour, Lifestyles, PR, Social Issues, Social Media, Wellbeing, Working from home on January 12, 2011 at 12:45 pmI’ve been laid low by the dreaded Swine Flu for the past 6 days … not feeling a happy PR person! Haven’t felt this poorly for a very long time – but today I am managing to get out my lappy and do some work … from bed! The joys of being your own boss means that deadlines have to be met – but it least you can work from home in your PJs :))
